Sophie Kerbacher-Sams
In her role as a university assistant, Sophie Kerbacher-Sams attaches great importance to showing students the finer points of criminal law in her courses and providing them with schemes for solving cases efficiently in examinations. Her own research interests lie in medical law. She has deepened her knowledge in this area as part of a postgraduate course in LLM Medical Law at the Johannes Kepler University Linz. Sophie Kerbacher-Sams is also interested in forensic medicine. In her dissertation, she is researching the nature of bodily harm associated with danger to life. Sophie Kerbacher-Sams has gained international and interdisciplinary project experience in the context of clinical-forensic evidence preservation with the "JUSTeU!" project, in which she was involved during her time as a research assistant at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Clinical Forensic Imaging.
